Strategies

After reading Strategies that Work by Stephanie Harvey and Anne Goudvis, Birchwood teachers developed a common language to use when teaching the seven comprehension strategies discussed in the book.  Below is a table listing the strategies and the user friendly language to help students with those strategies.

Strategy	Student Friendly Language
