Welcome to Hillside School! The elementary years are wonderful years for school children and, at Hillside School, we pride ourselves inproviding an outstanding place for kids to learn and grow. Our faculty and staff are highly competent, prepared, and qualified. Providing astrong instructional program is one of the most important things we do. As child-focused educators, ensuring the safety and well-being of students also is of the highest priority. One need only visit our small school to find students in classrooms happily engaged in important learning activities. Faculty and staff here embrace the idea that learning is not limited to the four walls of their classrooms. We at Hillside School believe that, for the elementary child, the school experience is as important as the classroom experience. Emphasizing the concept of community, we all play roles as members. This is demonstrated regularly at our monthly Hello Hillside community meetings, and in other ways, such as through drives to collect money and goods for donation to worthy causes. The Hillside P.T.O. is comprised of involved and supportive parents. This organization provides several opportunities for academic enrichment and social events and gatherings that further enhance the school experience for kids.
