Welcome!
This is my third year teaching in Niskayuna. I've been a teacher for eight years, starting my career teaching third grade special education at a district near Rochester, NY. I received my bachelor's degree in elementary and special education and my master's degree in reading education from SUNY Geneseo. I love working with middle school students and enjoy being involved in extracurricular activites including Literary Lunch, Read-a-thon and Drama Club. I also enjoyed being an Odyssey of the Mind coach for four years. When I'm not teaching, I like playing with my daughter, going to plays and movies, cooking dinner with my husband, and of course, READING!
