Iroquois Middle School will be holding it's annual
Career Day for all 7th graders on Thursday, March 6th,
2008. Each year we invite a wide variety of
professionals and technicians to speak to students about
their careers, their education, the positive and
negative aspects of their jobs. Students will
select three presenters from a pool of 15 to 20
career representatives.
Career Day is more then just a day of fun speakers.
Counselors and teachers use Career Day as a time to talk
to students about some very important question,
Who am I? Where am I going? How do I get there? What am
I learning? Why am I learning it? How can I use it?
The goal of Career Day is to give students the
opportunity to speak with a variety of professionals
about their careers, and open their minds to the
limitless possibilities that lie ahead of them.
